New Chief Operations Officer

Dr Catherine Kenyatta studied human sciences at Oxford University, where she obtained a first class degree, before undertaking her PhD in the Department of Anthropology at University College London in 1995. She initially worked for the International Centre for Research in Agro forestry (ICRAF) in Kenya before taking up a series of positions with USAID as a Consultant and Advisor on agriculture and food related issues in the horn of Africa.

In 2001 she returned to ICRAF as Manager for programme planning and resources and since 2006 has been manager of the Millennium Villages development project in Kenya. She has extensive experience in all aspects of programme management in East Africa.
