BBC radio story on October Science Café

On 26 October 2009, BBC ran a radio story on the mental health in Kenya and featured the October Science Café.

The October Science Café discussed issues of mental health in Kenya with a diverse range of experts including top psychiatrists, mental health advocates, users and survivors of psychiatry and trained counsellors. The cafe hoped to raise awareness about mental health in Kenya and people affected by mental illnesses who are the most marginalized and vulnerable in society due to stigma and inhumane treatment.
