PCVIS News Issue 8 (April 2010)

On May 29, people will gather at the Matron Chiphatsi Building for the offical opening to celebrate Matron Chiphatsi who was District Public Health Nurse for Kilifi from 2001-2007. This will be followed by a Health Action Day being organised in her honour at Ngerenya dispensary.

Kilifi District Hospital attained position 2 in the hospital ranking but is working harder. Dr Iqbal Khandwalla, the Medical Superintendent says "we have our eyes on the 1st PRIZE..."

Ousman Abdullahi, PhD, joins the Hall of fame - Harvard University - on a post doctoral fellowship after 6 years at the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme.
