Beth graduated with an MPharm in Pharmacy at the University of London, School of Pharmacy in 2004, completed her pre-registration at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London and was registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) in 2005. Beth joined the MPHEG at the end of 2005 and began her research career evaluating the coverage and use of Insecticide Treated Nets and its impact on malaria in Kenya. In 2006 she completed a Masters in Global Health at the University of Oxford, UK. Currently Beth is undertaking a PhD registered with the Open University, UK based at the MPHEG. Her thesis research is examining how access to effective anti-malarial treatment among febrile children can be improved through the implementation of a home-based management strategy and distribution and training of retailers in ACTs.
