Edwine is a Pharmacist and Health Economist with research interests in economic evaluation, health technology assessment (HTA), health financing, priority setting and resource allocation. Edwine graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Nairobi, Kenya and in 2011 with a Masters degree in Health Economics from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He joined the KEMRI/Wellcome Trust Research Programme in 2009 and currently works as a Research Officer within the Child and Newborn health group (CNHG).
Edwine is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Economics with the University of Cape Town South Africa.
