Jacinta graduated with a B.Sc. in Environmental Health from Moi University. She joined KEMRI/Wellcome Trust Research Programme in 2007 as an Intern and was employed as an Assistant Research Officer in the same year. Her work involved documenting health worker experiences in implementing ETAT+ Paedaiatric Guidelines.
In October 2008, she joined the Oxford University where she is currently undertaking her M.Sc. in Global Health. Her placement project focuses on Literature Review on nurses retention in rural areas in Africa under the CREHS team.
She has an interest in Health Systems research in Human Resources for Health.
